Become a Patron of the Appomattox Historical Society

What is a patron? A patron is somebody who gives support, often financial, to a person, cause, or organization. In other words, the term refers to a sponsor, backer, or financier. The Appomattox County Historical Society is welcoming patrons to help support our cause of preserving and promoting the history of Appomattox County Virginia.

As a patron, your generous donations help us to ensure the preservation of our County’s history. Your donations go towards not only the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, including the Clover Hill Village and the Appomattox Old Jail Museum and Library, but will also empower the Society in purchasing new locations, new exhibits and funding historical projects. All donations help to secure, restore and preserve items of historical significance which are made available to the public in our museum and library.
